Welcome...

A bit of history:
I was a frequent guest and counselor, in the 1950's, at Jess and Adena Cox's Pinto Ranch in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and acquired a special interest in paint horses. During the 1960's, I had the privilege to train and show horses for Jess and Adena.

After receiving my degree in Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University, I moved to California bringing A-ta-ya's yearling filly.

Jack Hitchings introduced me to cutting when he started my paint stallion, Versary's Star. And during the campaign of Bar Gun Smoke, I rode with Bobby Ingersoll and Gary Gonsalves.

Nestled in the heart of gold country, Angels Creek Cutting Horses is home to Stars N Colors and Stings Color. Both stallions are by APHA World Champion and Million Dollar Sire Color Me Smart.

Our broodmares include daughters of Ill Be Smart, Dry Doc, Mr. Peponita Flo, Smokin 45, Powder River Playboy and other great horses. We have a nice selection of AQHA and APHA prospects for sale.

We are conveniently located along Hwy 49 between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our website. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!
